Daftar Lagu Favorit Pebalap F1 Sebelum Balapan

Bola.com, Texas - Para pebalap F1 kerap terlihat mendengarkan musik dengan menggunakan headphone sebelum beraksi di balik kokpit jet darat. Sebenarnya, lagu apa yang dinikmati oleh Lewis Hamilton dkk.?

Menjelang pergelaran F1 GP AS di Austin, Texas, 21-23 Oktober 2016, pengelola Circuit of the Americas (COTA) meminta para pebalap memilih satu sampai tiga lagu favorit yang biasa mereka dengarkan sebelum beraksi di trek.

Hasilnya cukup mengejutkan. Meski tak ada satu pun pebalap yang berasal dari AS, tapi mayoritas pebalap menyukai band Negeri Paman Sam.

Lagu-lagu yang dipilih pun kebanyakan lagu lawas. Padahal, mayoritas pebalap yang ada di grid rata-rata masih berusia 20-an tahun.

Band dan penyanyi yang paling populer adalah The Eagles dan Michael Jackson. Sementara itu, lagu paling populer adalah Hotel California dari The Eagles yang dipilih tiga pebalap.

Pebalap Toro Rosso, Daniil Kvyat, menjadi pebalap dengan selera musik paling menarik. Pebalap Rusia berusia 22 tahun itu menyukai lagu "Whiskey in the Jar" milik Metallica, "Ace of Spades" dari Motorhead, dan yang paling mengejutkan adalah "Strangers in the Night" nya Frank Sinatra.

Menariknya, dari 22 pebalap yang ada di grid, dalam daftar tak tercantum nama dua pebalap Manor Racing, Pascal Wehrlein dan Esteban Ocon, serta Carlos Sainz Jr. (Toro Rosso).

Musik memang tak bisa dipisahkan dari pergelaran F1 GP AS. Setiap tahun, mereka selalu memberikan hiburan berupa konser penyanyi papan atas. Untuk tahun ini, pihak penyelenggara bakal menampilkan penyanyi pop populer, Taylor Swift.
