Ladies and gentlemen, let me stand in front of the audience to talk about the global economy.

It is a widely accepted view that globalization would not only benefit all countries across the world but would also work towards the betterment of the economy as a whole. Globalization was not only loose of boundaries of each country but associated with many complex things in a country including economics. A global economy is characterized as a world economy with a unified market for all goods produced across the world. It thus gives domestic producers an opportunity to expand and raise capacity according to global demands Likewise, it also provides an opportunity for domestic consumers to choose from a vast array of imported goods. A global economy aims to rationalize the prices of all products globally.

While a global economy or globalization has the distinct advantage of raising world productivity and incomes and bringing about an improvement in the standards of living for all people at a global level, it has the dangerous side effect of growth with inequality. This has been evidenced in the less developed economies of India, China, and Brazil where the benefits of globalization have not percolated to the lowest levels. This has brought about a wide divide between the have-nots and the have-nots.

A Global Economy also leads to a shifting of jobs from the developed countries to the Third World Countries as wage rates are much lower here. This allows companies of the advanced nation to grow exponentially. For example, we might find computer chips produced in China to be exported to the USA for design which may be subsequently used in Japanese computers supplied across the world. This process is called “outsourcing” and leads to the exploitation of workers in Third World economies where income inequalities already exist.

The last, nonetheless, a global economy may be beneficial for the world at large. This may result in the economies of the world fighting issues such as global warming or maybe climate change.

The topic of my speech is National Education Day. Every 2nd May, We celebrate it, On struggle Era, Indonesian Citizen could not allow to school. They wanted Indonesian always to be stupid, So, we couldn’t war against them. But Indonesian’s youth tried to get education, especially from the wealthy people, one of them was Ki Hajar Dewantara. He is an Education hero, because of him, we can be study at school, our task is only to fight stupidity.

First of all, let’s say our praise and gratitude to Allah Swt. selawat and salam may always be upon our adoration and shining model, namely Prophet Muhammad saw., and upon all of his families, companions, and followers.

To the honorable Mr. and Mrs. Teachers as well as to all my priding students of SMA Negeri 2 Cikarang Pusat,

This bright day could be a sign of the start of our lives that would be bright in the future as well. Aamiin.

I wish for all of you as a youth generation to have a bright life in the future days, bright for all of your lives, and bright for the people, nation, and religion.

To all of my dearest students of SMA Negeri 2 Cikarang Pusat,

There is no way we can deny that the quality of our youth generation is the reflection of our nation’s future. It is said that a nation will be a loser nation if its youth generation fails to guide themselves to become youths who have morality and capability. Maybe it is too far away for all of you to think of the nation, yet what really matters today is that you must begin to think of your future. What kind of person do you want to be in the future? Is it a successful or failed person? Everything started today. It’s all because everything you will reach in the future time is the result of what you have done today.

John Kennedy, the American statesman, once said his concern to the moral detriments of the American youth generation, “If only they were ordered to engage in a war, there would be only one of seven youths who dares to fight against the enemies”. Therefore, it is quite a right decision if you start today by preparing yourselves in order to be able to compete as well as take some other bigger role. You have to be prepared by having the presence of mind to develop your morality. You need to be fully aware to possess the skills so that you can compete in achieving success.

All you can do from now on is study well. Join the extracurricular activities that you are interested in. All the advantages of it will come to you. If you plant from today then you will definitely pick the happiness later.

Associate in positive environment and surroundings. Stay away from drugs. For my female students, please be careful. It’s because there has been much news in our country that told about the female students who had love affairs and ended up getting pregnant outside of marriage. Please, have pity on yourselves by avoiding negative deeds and social intercourses.

That’s all I can say to all of you, my students. Please forgive me if I had mistakes in my speech words.
