Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Dear Principal of SMA Merdeka Nusantara,

I respect Mr. and Mrs. Teachers of Merdeka Nusantara High School, along with employees of Merdeka Nusantara High School, honorable guardians of students in grade 12 of Merdeka Nusantara High School.

Happy friends in 10th and 11th grade, let us pray to Allah Swt. who has provided opportunities, convenience, and guidance to all of us.

Peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), who brought his people from the age of Jahiliyyah to the age of Islam, as we are experiencing today.

Ladies and gentlemen,

As the saying goes, “I don’t know you so I don’t love you”. It would be nice, today, to introduce myself before delivering my speech.

I am Cindy from class 12 IPA 2, as a representative of my class 12 friends who are carrying out even graduation activities.

In the three years I have been attending Merdeka Nusantara High School, many things have made me change.

Yes, of course, this high school has made me an educative, solutive, and competitive figure.

For us Merdeka Nusantara High School students, in our opinion, Merdeka Nusantara High School is the main gate to reaching the future.

This is where the door to success is opened. Under the auspices of discipline and character, we can step up and grow in the darkness and harshness of the world.

Starting today we will say goodbye to our beloved alma mater, scratched in black ink on a diploma sheet that we have been searching for, for more than three years.

From here, we not only gain worldly knowledge but we are also equipped with the knowledge of the hereafter that is always given.

Message to the 10th and 11th graders, don’t go to school because of coercion. Keep going to school because of your conscience.

Be grateful to still be able to feel good at school, there are still many generations who drop out of school because they have no money and choose to work. That’s all.

First of all, let’s give thanks to God because at this time we can gather for a farewell party.

We are proud of our parents, teachers, and classmates. It doesn’t feel like three years have passed. We have experienced the ups and downs of this school. Today we gathered at the farewell party, soon we will leave this school we love.

On this auspicious occasion, on behalf of the 12th-grade students, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to the teachers who have guided us to complete the level of education at this school. Hopefully, the knowledge given by the teacher is useful for us.

We do not forget to thank our parents who have sincerely guided and raised us so that we can receive a full education. For students of class 10 and 11, goodbye, may success and success always be with you.

We know we still have a long way to go. We will pass through ups and downs on our next trip. For that, we expect prayers from the teachers and younger siblings so that we can safely carry out our obligations and be part of our higher school life. To realize our ideals, we are accompanied by prayers from Mr. and Mrs, our teachers, and our parents.

Finally, may we all always be in the protection of God. Wassalamualaikum Wr. Wb.

Good morning the honorable principal, vice principal, fellow colleagues, friends, students, and most importantly my 12th grade students. It is such an honorable opportunity for me to welcome you all to this important ceremony. We are all here to bid farewell to our sons and daughters, our 12th students who are leaving the school after completing their studies in Montgomery School. Once again, I welcome you all to this ceremony.

Dear 12th grade students,

You have just unlocked a new gate to the next stage in life. The memory of you all coming to this school for the first time is clearly drawn on my mind. This school is a witness of your growth day by day, now those small steps are ready to jump into the further stage in life. During your school day you receive uncountable pressure in school, let us say, that hard assignments, sadness, and several burdening examinations are attacking you every day.

Those hard times and grief have paid off today since you have come to the end of your journey in High School. Most essentially, you have attained this stage with great achievement and beautiful memories. As someone who directly watches your growing state, we, as the teachers are very proud of you all. You need to know that being tough to you does not mean that we hate you. We tried to make you ready and nurture you to have a strong foundation when facing real-life challenges in the future.

Today I am going to represent the whole teachers to say that we are honored to have students like you. You have recorded many achievements over the years, whether it is academic or extracurricular activities. Your outstanding accomplishments in academic courses or sports activities are acknowledged and we will remember it all.

I and my fellow teachers are grateful for the never-ending spirit you have demonstrated towards the learning process, the teachers, the school’s management, and even your fellow students. I hope that this farewell ceremony does not cut off the hostility rope between us, we are still family though.

My dear 12th grade students,

Life challenges are waiting for you as you walk out of this school but I do believe that the manner and skill that you have obtained for years in school will help you to conquer the obstacles well.

At this very moment, I want to encourage the outgoing students to be good ambassadors in society and never let their selfish interests ruin your glorious path. Be humble to the people that you meet on your way up, and be a positive person not only for yourself but also for the people who live around you.

Quoting the United States First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, ‘The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams’. This means that a bright future is prepared for those who believe in themselves and their dreams. The most important part is to be optimistic in whatever you are doing.

On behalf of this school, I bid you farewell and I sincerely wish you the best of luck in starting another journey. May God bless your way! Thank you very much for your kind attention, good morning.

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful.

All Praise and thanks be to Allah, for giving us His mercy and guidance, enabling us to gather here together in the farewell ceremony of the grade 12 students of Bina Bangsa Senior High School who have successfully completed their final examination. Not forgetting, peace and blessings be upon the Prophet Muhammad saw. and upon his family, companions, and who followed them until the Day of Judgment.

On this special occasion, please allow me on behalf of the grade 12 students to say a few words in this farewell ceremony.

First, I would like to thank all of the committees for all their hard work in making this event possible. This event makes us realize that we all have accomplished one of the major milestones of our lives, which is high school graduation. This event brings emotions to each of our hearts: sadness, but pride.

We feel sad because we must say goodbye to this school, to all members of this school who have been sharing beautiful memories together during three years studying here. It seems like only yesterday that we were little freshmen who signed up on the registration day and started introducing each other on the first day of school orientation days, how did it all go so fast?

However, we also feel proud that we finally made this accomplishment. All the hard work has finally paid off and did not go to waste. We also realize that without help and support from all parties, we could not have made it to this treasured day.

On behalf of my fellow friends of grade 12, from the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank all the teachers of Bina Bangsa Senior High School for patiently teaching us all useful courses. Although we might not do well in the course we were supposed to do, we got a lot of valuable lessons from you.

To my parents, the word “thank you” doesn’t do enough justice. You all have done so much for me, not just in the last three years, but for my entire life. You have been there for me through everything that has ever happened in my life. Thank you for pushing me toward my dreams, thank you for making me believe that I am capable of achieving my goals, and thank you for all the sacrifices you have made to ensure proper education for me.

Finally, to my fellow friends, thank you so much for the beautiful memories you gave me behind. And now here we stand. Our journey has just begun. The road that lies ahead may not be easy.

There will be problems and obstacles we face. There will be times when each of us will feel like we cannot possibly go on. But that doesn’t mean we can give up on ourselves. There will be infinite choices available to us but we do need to find our own path, to build our futures.

Some of us may go to college, others may go straight into the workforce, but each of us will travel our own path. Wherever we go and whatever we do, I hope we can reach our goals and fulfill our dreams and I hope we be friends when we meet again.

To end my speech, allow me to recite prayers to Allah for all graduates here:

“O Allah, we gather now in the farewell ceremony of grade 12 students. We pray for smoothness in this transition in life. Help us to remember that you are in total control and that everything that happens is for a purpose.

Help us never to forget that in life you have a plan for each one of us and it’s our job to seek your will and carry it out. Help us to take away our selfish egos and our pride. Help us to always see the big picture that you are painting for us. Amen.”
